The FIFA rankings for November put Armenia in the 124th place. As compared to the previous month's rankings Armenia rolled five ranks down the scale. Azerbaijan are immediately ahead of Armenia, 123rd, after having climbed five ranks up since October.

The Football Federation of Armenia has held its fifth presidential election, with the incumbent Ruben Hayrapetyan winning a second four-year term in office.

Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronyan took the second place in the blitz tournament held in Moscow in the framework of the memorial championship after Mikhail Tal.
