2007 was AUDI AG’s twelfth record year in a row worldwide. From January through December, 964,151 cars were handed over to customers – 6.5 percent more than in 2006 (905,188).

AUDI AG sold approximately 893,600 cars worldwide between January and November, a rise of 7.3 percent on the prior-year period (2006: 833,021).
In November itself, more than 75,600 cars were handed over to their new owners (up 0.5 percent; 2006: 75,258).

Volkswagen AG’s luxury arm Audi AG said Thursday that its global sales worldwide increased 5.3 percent in October compared with last year.

The 2007/2008 skiing season has been opened: with an international press conference at Sölden (Austria) Audi yesterday gave the starting signal for the first race weekend of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup to which AUDI AG has been giving its name for as many as five years now.

The heritage department of AUDI AG has an appointment of particular note today: Audi Tradition is taking receipt of a fully restored Audi 18/70 hp Type M, dating from 1925, from the vehicle restoration specialists at Fahrzeugrestaurierung Rosenow, based in Glienick near Berlin – in the form of a cutaway model.
