Leading UK Parliamentarians join 100s for an Autism Sunday Service

Leading British parliamentarians joined hundreds of people at a London Service to mark the international day - Autism Sunday also known as the International Day of Prayer for Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Autism Sunday was observed around the world on 8th February. Cathedrals, churches and religious organisations around the world pray for over 60 million people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome.

Chancellor Darling urged to help the Vulnerable

UK Autistic Teenager found after Hospital Blunder

(London, UK) A 16 year old British teenager,James Wilson who has autism, has been found by police having walked from Epping via Chelmsford to Colchester in Essex, after a massive hospital blunder. Mrs Lash Wilson, mother of James has called on the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Secretary of State for Health Alan Johnson to launch an inquiry as how a vulnerable teenager with autism was allowed out of Goodmayes Hospital in Essex to go to the cornershop unsupervised.

'Act on Autism' appeal to Pope Benedict XVI after Bertha Church Autism Ban

Pope Benedict XVI has been urged to act on autism after Adam Race, a 13 year old boy with severe autism was banned from the Roman Catholic Church of St.Joseph in Bertha, Minnesota by his priest Fr.Daniel Walz. According to court documents, Fr. Daniel Walz took out a temporary restraining order on the boy with autism and his mother Carol Race on the grounds of disruptive behaviour.' They were threatened with arrest by the Sheriff of Todd County if they entered the church for Mass.
