Carolina Ballet will be returning to Winston-Salem for one performance of Beauty and the Beast at the Stevens Center on June 2, 2009. The performance will begin at 7:30pm. The premiere of this fairytale is in Raleigh at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium the previous weekend.

American Dance Institute brings the enchanting tale of the “Nutcracker” alive during a family-friendly weekend of events at the Rockville, MD studio this December. The Youth Ensemble will perform a version of the classic ballet and the Sugar Plum Extravaganza will offer an interactive introduction to the “Nutcracker” story through dancing, crafts and a “kingdom of sweets,” for children ages three through eight.

David Nixon will choreograph a new production of ‘The Nutcracker’ for Northern Ballet Theatre (NBT). The production will premiere at the Palace Theatre, Manchester on Thursday 11 October 2007 followed by a 4-week tour to Sheffield, Canterbury and Leeds.
