Freefall Dance Company will celebrate its fifth birthday this year and will mark the occasion with a full evenings entertainment. On 11 April, the Company will perform Freefall Five at the Patrick Centre within the Birmingham Hippodrome. The evening will feature five new and established repertoire pieces that demonstrate the versatility and talents of the performers and creators.

In April 2008 English National Ballet will take its full production of Derek Deane's Swan Lake to the Grand Theatre in Leeds. The full production was last seen in the UK at the London Coliseum in January where it was met with sell out audiences and rave reviews.

This April The Australian Ballet presents Jerome Robbins – A Celebration at the Sydney Opera House. The programme is a tribute to the world famous choreographer, on the tenth anniversary of his death, whose genius stretched across decades and art forms, from 30 April to 19 May 2008.

Pennsylvania Ballet presents Robert Weiss' Messiah, March 5 – 9, at the Academy of Music. With a score that lends itself to dance, Pennsylvania Ballet's former Artistic Director (1982-1990) Robert Weiss has created a visually enthralling epic that translates Handel's libretto to the stage. In more than 50 individual scenes, Messiah captures joy, suffering, passion, and the timeless tale of redemption.
