With her New York City full-evening debut in mind, choreographer Jessica Lang knew exactly which company of dancers would best represent her work: Richmond Ballet. In March, the professional company will perform three of Lang's works during a special event at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts celebrating her innovative choreography.

BalletMet Columbus announces audition dates for its professional company for the 2008-2009 season on March 1 and 9, 2008.

Principal Dancer Nehemiah Kish will perform at Sadler's Wells Sampled in London, England with Royal Ballet Principal Dancer Alina Cojocaru on January 26 & 27. Mr. Kish and Ms. Cojocaru will perform Christopher Wheeldon's Prokofiev Pas de Deux, which was created on Mr. Kish by Mr. Wheeldon and made its North American premiere October 2007 in New York City.

Join the mischievous sprite Puck as his matchmaking goes awry in William Shakespeare's topsy-turvy comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream, from February 8 to 10, 2008. Director and choreographer William Soleau will merge the talents of Richmond Ballet, Richmond Symphony, the Richmond Symphony Chorus, Virginia Opera soloists and special guest narrators in this collaborative interpretation of the Bard's riotous play.
