Birmingham Royal Ballet returns to the Hippodrome stage during February with two great dance programmes: Swan Lake, arguably the most famous ballet of all time, and All That Jazz – a triple bill of jazz ballets that includes David Bintley's latest jazz creation Take Five to the music of Dave Brubeck.

BalletMet Columbus offers revelry especially for children at Dance Day for Kids, Sat., Feb. 16 at the Capitol Theatre beginning at 1pm. The event, geared to children ages 3-10, includes fun, hands-on activities followed by a special performance at 2pm. After the performance, kids can meet BalletMet dancers on stage.

On February 9th, 2008 Ballet San Jose presents “A Night on Swan Lake” White Tie & Diamond Gala, an exclusive and intimate evening of divine elegance at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto.

In January 2008 Birmingham Royal Ballet travels to Japan to perform two full-length ballets, David Bintley's Beauty and the Beast and Sir Peter Wright's production of Coppélia. This tour marks Birmingham Royal Ballet’s first visit to Japan since 1995. On this occasion the Company performed Swan Lake and Coppélia.

From April 3 to 13, 2008 Ballet Austin will present Cult of Color: Call to Color, a world premiere ballet realized through an exciting collaboration among international award-winning choreographer and Ballet Austin artistic director Stephen Mills, Houstonbased contemporary visual artist Trenton Doyle Hancock and nationally acclaimed Austin composer Graham Reynolds.

Magnificent new sets by Peter Horne, 192 exquisitely lavish new costumes designed by Judanna Lynn, Tschaikovsky’s endearing score, and Balanchine’s masterful choreography set the stage for the World Premiere production of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, presented by PNC, December 14 through December 31, 2007 at the Academy of Music.

James Sewell Ballet will present its annual holiday production of "Amahl and the Night Visitors," Dec. 21-22, at The O'Shaughnessy in St. Paul.

Birmingham Royal Ballet’s spectacular production of The Nutcracker will return to its home theatre in Birmingham from Friday 30 November to Thursday 13 December.

BalletMet Columbus hails the holidays with its 24 annual Nutcracker Ball 7pm Sat., Dec. 1, at Lane Aviation, Port Columbus International Airport. The black-tie event features dinner, dancing and entertainment in celebration of BalletMet’s 30th anniversary presentation of The Nutcracker, Dec. 8 – 23 at the Ohio Theatre.

For the first time ever and for one presentation only, The National Ballet of Canada and Cineplex Entertainment will present The Nutcracker live in high-definition (HD) on December 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. EST exclusively in 69 Cineplex Entertainment theatres across Canada.

Ben Stevenson, artistic director of Texas Ballet Theater, is proud to present the Ballet’s most celebrated production of the year, The Nutcracker, performed at Fort Worth’s Bass Performance Hall and Dallas’ Music Hall at Fair Park. Tickets for The Nutcracker start at $18.
