MSNBC is reporting that New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson is withdrawing his own nomination as Commerce Secretary due to an investigation by the FBI.

U.S. President-elect Barack Obama is set to name another governor to his cabinet Wednesday, one day after meeting with many of the nation's governors in Philadelphia. He has scheduled a news conference in Chicago, to announce the nomination of New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson for Commerce Secretary.
