Research in Motion (RIM) has officially announced that the new Blackberry 9700 will be coming to "carriers around the world" starting in November. T-Mobile and AT&T are both rumored to be carriers for the new Bold 9700. The Blackberry Bold 9700 has frequently been call the "Onyx" through much of 2009 and is now ready to make its entrance.

The BlackBerry Storm 2 has been launched by Research in Motion (RIM). The question now becomes, will it make consumers forget the underwhelming Storm (1)?

Updated BlackBerry Desktop Software for the Mac OS is supposedly coming to Mac this month. Research in Motion (RIM) revealed the details about the Mac version of its desktop software today but did not give a specific release date. It's almost the end of September, so if the rumors are correct the release should be out in the next few days.

IBM, RIM Mobilize Business With Lotus Software and Developer Tools for the BlackBerry Platform

One of the great new features I am starting to enjoy on my BlackBerry Storm is the ability for it to play multimedia files and specifically audio (music).

Earlier this week the Washington Post wrote that the McCain - Palin campaign was having a fire sale on all sorts of equipment, from laptops to TVs to desks. Fox 5 in Washington, DC decided to check out the bargains, and snagged two Blackberrys for $20 each. No chargers, but a great price, and plenty of confidential info as well.

This week, as spectators around the world either watched TV news, tracked Twitter feeds, read blogs and sites in horror as the Mumbai terrorist attacks unfolded, the terrorists themselves were tech'ed up in order to track the police response themselves.
