Really odd happenings going on over the past few days. First it was Joe Morgan disappearing (below) and now Mike Golic is the topic of discussion. MSNBC reports that today heart attack claimed the life of the veteran reporter Tim Russert, who died at age 58 after collapsing. Tim Russert was the moderator of Meet The Press since 1991. Tom Brokow called him his "friend" and said that Tim had just returned from a family trip to Italy and his son just graduated from Boston College. He collapsed at work. Tom says Tim loved his family, his faith and his country.

ESPN Radio 1250 host Mark Madden has been fired for derogatory comments made on the air after reports that Sen. Edward Kennedy had been hospitalized for a malignant brain tumor, reports Washington Post.

CNN International reporter Richard Quest, 45, was arrested in New York City early this morning for meth possession. Richard Quest was discovered in NYC's Central Park and arrested by police for possession of methamphetamine.
