Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, today announced the launch of a new, integrated advertising campaign for its camcorder product line up. A two-pronged effort with creative supporting Canon's new VIXIA line of HD camcorders, as well as its revolutionary line of Flash Memory camcorders, will reach consumers through a variety of print and interactive executions.

A Canon XH G1 HD video camcorder traveled into space for use in testing involving the capture of digital high-definition television (HDTV) images on the latest space shuttle mission. The XH GI was carried on the space shuttle Discovery, which was launched on October 23 from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 11:38 a.m.
