Teams of performers took to the streets of the West End and Canary Wharf to give Londoners a taste of what Cardiff has to offer at the launch of the first-ever brand for the city. The brand was launched simultaneously in Cardiff at the Wales Millennium Centre.

Cardiff University has awarded an Honorary Fellowship to one of the world’s major living composers.

Award-winning jazz act The Neil Cowley Trio, have showcased work from their new album at a concert held at the University.

The University is encouraging members of staff and students to take part in ‘Fairtrade Fortnight’ (25 February - 9 March).
