Reports are surfacing that Caroline Kennedy is the front-runner for Hillary Clinton's New York Senate. On the other hand, still other reports say no. Sigh.

Caroline Kennedy is seeking an appointment to take Sen. Hillary Clinton's Senate seat. Clinton, of course, has been slated to be Barack Obama's Secretary of State. However, Kennedy apparently hasn't shown much interest in politics prior to now, having skipped voting in several elections, including one for the post she is seeking.

When Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton of New York takes her post as US Secretary of State on January 20, 2009, Caroline Kennedy could possibly take her seat.
