The legal battle between former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean and pageant organizers has official been settled. Under the terms of the settlement, Carrie Prejean will walk away with nothing from the Miss California USA Pageant.

California state pageant officials say they loaned dethroned Miss California Carrie Prejean $5200 for breast implant surgery and she hasn't repaid them. The money for the surgery under an oral agreement with Prejean and they are asking for full payment as well as any profits from Prejean's tell-all book due out next month.

According to the Miss California pageant, and its parent the Miss USA pageant, Carrie Prejean was "fired" because she was missing events that she was supposed to attend. Prejean disagrees, and her newly-filed lawsuit says it was all about religious discrimination.

A series of emails between Keith Lewis, Miss California USA director, and former Miss California Carrie Prejean shows a lack of professionalism on her part, as well as arrogance. For some, this can be said to be the reason she was fired, but there is doubt the story is over yet.
