Nissan today announced that Alain Dassas will join the company as its new Chief Financial Officer. Effective September 17th, 2007 Dassas will lead the Finance function of the company including financial strategy, treasury, tax, and capital markets, sales financing operations and communications with investors and shareholders.

Former Enron Corp. Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey McMahon will pay $300,000 to settle Securities and Exchange Commission charges that he aided and abetted the energy-trading company's financial fraud, The Associated Press reported Thursday.
