Almost two months after his arrest on a felony child molestation warrant, famous Hollywood director Roman Polanski was granted bail by the Swiss Court. The Swiss Criminal Court granted Polanski's bail request on the condition that he post a $4.5 million cash bail and wear a 24 hour electronic monitoring bracelet.

In an email to U.S. authorities earlier this month, Swiss officials said that Roman Polanski will likely be extradited back to the United States to face sentencing for the 1978 rape of a 13-year-old girl. According to the email, which was made public by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, Swiss officials believe Roman Polanski will be extradited as a result of the facts submitted in this case.
