Heartland Men's Chorus highlights its lighter side with its final concert of the season. Divas! (June 14-15, 2008) celebrates fabulous, glamorous, iconic women of song. From Whitney to Britney and all the sequined glamour goddesses that came before, audiences will dance in the aisles during HMC’s summer concert spectacular.

From 11 to 18 May, Southbank Centre devotes a week to the many facets of choral singing and celebrates the human voice – from Beethoven to gospel; Vaughan Williams to jazz; and Welsh male voice choirs to beatboxing. Chorus is for those who love to either participate in or listen to choral music, with some of the finest professional and non-professional choirs from around the UK performing in Southbank Centre's concert halls and public spaces.

The internationally acclaimed Boston Gay Men's Chorus will present Crescendo, its annual benefit gala, on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 7 pm at the Roxy Ballroom. More than 500 Chorus patrons and friends are expected to attend the celebration which includes entertainment by special guest Miss Richfield, live and silent auctions with one-of-a-kind items up for bid, a sumptuous array of gourmet desserts, and cocktails and socializing.

The Gay Men's Chorus of San Diego will kick off its 16th Anniversary Season of Singing Out with its spring concert, "Heart and Soul – Music of the 50s." This hip and hilarious trip down memory lane will be presented on Saturday, April 12, at 8:00 pm and then again on Sunday, April 13, at 2:00 pm. Both performances will take place inside the beautiful David & Dorothea Garfield Theatre, located within the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center at 4126 Executive Drive in La Jolla.

Heartland Men's Chorus welcomes their brothers from Wichita, the Heart of America Men's Chorus, to the Folly Theater stage for "Exile: The Journey Home," March 29-30, 2008. "We're excited to have more than 200 men on the stage of the Folly Theater," HMC artistic director Dr. Joe Nadeau said. "It's going to be a powerful sound when all these voices combine as one."

The Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus continues its 18th season with a dynamic musical collaboration with ProMusica Chamber Orchestra. All are invited to delight in the rich, luxurious sounds of ProMusica and the powerful choral voices of Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus in this one-of-a-kind venue, on Friday, March 14 at 8 p.m..

Chorus pro Musica, led by Guest Conductor David Hodgkins, will present a special concert celebrating New England composers on March 7, at 8 pm, at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 138 Tremont Street, Boston (opposite the Park St MBTA station). The performance includes a special tribute to Daniel Pinkham, who at his death in December 2006 left a substantial legacy of great works, many commissioned or premiered by Chorus pro Musica.

The 150-voice Boston Gay Men’s Chorus will celebrate the season with a heartwarming and entertaining tour of holiday music from across the globe with three concerts titled “Peace On Earth – Holidays Around the World.” Under the direction of Reuben Reynolds, the performances will be held on Friday, December 7 at 8 pm, Saturday, December 8 at 3 pm and again on Saturday, December 8 at 8 pm. All concerts are held at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall.

The Gay Men’s Chorus of San Diego will wrap up its successful 15th Anniversary Season of Singing Out with its annual holiday concerts. “Bells & Brass,” which features the 75-member Chorus accompanied by brass ensemble and handbell choir, will be presented on Saturday, December 15, at 8 pm and again on Sunday, December 16, at 2 pm.

The Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus invites its patrons to participate in the popular Adopt-a-Musician program. Now in its third year, the program allows the Chorus to add the excitement of live orchestral music to its Holiday Treasures concerts at 8 p.m. Dec. 19 and 20 at the Amaturo Theater, Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
