The Gay Men’s Chorus of San Diego will perform at a pair of upcoming community events to help everyone ring in the holiday season. GMCSD will sing selections from its holiday concert “Bells & Brass” which will be held on December 15 and 16. Both events are free and open to the public.

Douglas Clark, tenor, is the featured soloist with the Monmouth Civic Chorus in LisztFest, celebrating the life and music of the Romantic genius Franz Liszt. A resident of Tinton Falls, Clark has been a Chorus member and soloist since 1987, and is also a member and soloist with the New Jersey Chamber Singers.

After an outstanding performance of Carmina Burana in May, the Canton Symphony Chorus is excited begin the new 2007-2008 season with their annual Chorus Concert on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, downtown Canton.

The Akron Symphony chorus begins its next fifty years with a concert on Sunday, October 28 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Akron at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Hugh Floyd (Oberlin College Conservatory of Music) will direct the 120 plus member chorus in a program featuring Fauré’s masterpiece—Requiem.
