The American Institute of Architects (AIA) announced this week its list of the top 150 favorite works of architecture in the United States. Wedged between the Crane Library (43) in Quincy, Massachusetts and the Woolworth Building (45) in New York City is Cincinnati Union Terminal, now home to the Cincinnati Museum Center complex.

Eric Dudley On Podium For Cincinnati Symphony

Eric Dudley, the assistant conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, takes the Music Hall podium March 2 at 11 a.m. and March 3 at 8 p.m. in a program that includes the CSO premiere of Concertante by the American composer Stephen Paulus. Denis Matsuev, who has been praised for his "immense charisma and jaw-dropping technique" (Florida Sun-Sentinel) is soloist in Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major. Also on the program is Dvořák's Symphony No. 4 in D Minor.

Rising American conductor Michael Christie is on the podium for Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra concerts at Music Hall on February 16 and 17 at 8 p.m. The acclaimed violinist Leila Josefowicz performs one of her signature works, John Adams' Violin Concerto. Christie, who is the music director of the Phoenix Symphony and Brooklyn Philharmonic, leads the CSO in a tribute to the dean of American composers, Aaron Copland, with his Third Symphony and Fanfare for the Common Man.

Tito Muñoz Marks Cincinnati Symphony Subscription Debut

Tito Muñoz, the 23-year-old assistant conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, makes his CSO subscription debut at Music Hall on February 24 at 8 p.m. and February 25 at 3 p.m. with Korean violin star Chee-Yun as soloist. Mr. Muñoz replaces the previously announced guest conductor, Krzysztof Penderecki, who is recovering from surgery.
