In what must be one of the most spectacular Olympic closing ceremonies of all time, maybe only coming second to the opening event, China closed the 29th Olympiad on Sunday 24th August. In a complete contrast to the bright pink, red and white of the Chinese performance, London offered something of a grim view for the future and 2012.
