Sponsored by the Greater Columbus Arts Council and administered by BalletMet, the project, which began in 2004, provides funding and a venue for local dance artists to explore the art of creating dances. The application deadline is Oct. 26, 2007.

Mystery Martini Party Saturday, March 3 from 7 p.m. to midnight at Global Living, 855 Grandview Avenue. Dance Classes For All Ages And Skill Levels

Following a short break during the holiday season, the BalletMet Dance Academy resumed its wide variety of dance classes. Classes are now in session and still accepting registrations. Classes are available for ages 4 to adult. Offerings include ballet, tap, jazz, modern, Pilates, ballroom, hip hop, Flamenco and more.
