Viglen, a leading British manufacturer and provider of IT solutions, has become the first UK-based company to be appointed to a national storage and servers framework suppliers contract.

Verizon Business has announced a three-year extension to its existing contract to provide the London Stock Exchange with global communications support. Verizon Business is upgrading the exchange's global wide area network (WAN) communication infrastructure to further enhance high-speed data transmission and message-broadcasting capabilities.

Siemens Power Transmission and Distribution (PTD) has been awarded a contract worth more than USD 150 million to deliver two power converter stations for a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) link across San Francisco Bay between the East Bay and San Francisco.
