After facing heat in the form of threatened criminal charges as well as already existing lawsuits, Craigslist on Wednesday announced it will drop its "erotic services" section, and replace it with a new adult section that will be monitored by Craigslist employees.

The picture is painted in the minds of our families- Craigslist once revered as a hot new “goldmine” for “classifieds” is now a tainted one with Headlines reading “The Craigslist Killer”. Yes they are talking about the suspect Philip Markoff charged on April 14th with the death of masseuse Julissa Brisman- and linked to two other attacks? We wonder what is safe for our children, ourselves, and our family?

Philip Markoff, the medical student jailed in Boston on suspicion of killing a masseuse he met on Craigslist, now has an additional charge to be concerned with; he was charged Monday in Rhode Island with pulling a gun on a stripper in a hotel.

Those who have already bought wedding presents for Philip Markoff, the suspected Craigslist Killer, and his fiancee Megan McAllister, can return them. The wedding is off.

Is the honeymoon over before it even began? Despite calling her fiancee, Philip Markoff, the suspected "Craigslist Killer," a "beautiful person," it appears that Megan McAllister has at the very least postponed her planned wedding with him.

As I wrote previously, police were trying to link Philip Markoff, the suspected Craiglist Killer, to a third crime which took place in Rhode Island. They've found that link.

Philip Markoff, a 22-year-old medical student who stands accused of luring women posting Craigslist ads for sensual services to, in one case, their deaths, has been called "a beautiful person inside and out" by Megan McAllister, the woman to who he is engaged to be married.

22-year-old Philip Markoff has been charged in connection with two Craigslist attacks in the Boston area, including the murder of 29-year-old Julissa Brisman.

A couple in British Columbia have been arrested after placing an ad on online classifieds site Craigslist to sell their seven-day-old baby for $10,000 CAN. A woman alerted the police after reading the ad.

Earlier today Craigslist website was down. Some may have thought that Craigslist was down due to the safety and the nanny killing. Others think it may have been hacked. In the meanwhile the police is investigating in the motive of Craigslist killing suspect.

A Minnesota women, Kathrine Ann Olson, was found dead in the trunk of her car late Friday, murdered after answering an ad on Craigslist.
