Missing Baby Shannon Found: Mother, Babysitter Charged

Shannon Lea Dedrick,7 months old, was discovered Wednesday night hidden in a large box with a lid on it beneath the bed of her babysitter, Susan Elizabeth Baker. She was missing for five days. Shannon's mother, Chrystina Lynn Mercer and babysitter, Susan Elizabeth Baker were charged Thursday with several felonies, including desertion of a child and neglect of a child.

Yale Student Annie Le Case Still Missing

Yale University student Annie Le, last seen Tuesday, is still missing and the case is wide open. This afternoon, investigators found bloody clothing in the building where Lee was last seen but a body has not been found. The bloody clothes were found stuffed in the ceiling of the building where Le was last seen at 10 Amistad Street in New Haven, police confirmed.
