The National Ballet of Canada presents a diverse mixed programme featuring two company premieres, Christopher Bruce's Rooster and Marie Chouinard's 24 Preludes by Chopin, along with Jiri Kylian's Soldiers' Mass, at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts from March 8 - 16, 2008.

In April 2008 English National Ballet will take its full production of Derek Deane's Swan Lake to the Grand Theatre in Leeds. The full production was last seen in the UK at the London Coliseum in January where it was met with sell out audiences and rave reviews.

The Jerome Robbins celebration to feature 33 ballets by the great American choreographer who made New York City Ballet his artistic home for nearly 40 years. Guest artists to include dancers from American Ballet Theatre, Paris Opera Ballet, and The Royal Ballet.

The University of Kansas Department of Music & Dance is pleased to present a recital featuring the low brass works of Rodger Vaughan, a KU alum and renowned composer, originally from Pretty Prairie, Kansas. This recital will be presented by members of the KU faculty, KU music students and members of the Fountain City Brass Band of Kansas City, and is a part of the Murphy Hall 50th anniversary celebration.

This April The Australian Ballet presents Jerome Robbins – A Celebration at the Sydney Opera House. The programme is a tribute to the world famous choreographer, on the tenth anniversary of his death, whose genius stretched across decades and art forms, from 30 April to 19 May 2008.

CITY BALLET OF SAN DIEGO, under the direction of Steven and Elizabeth Wistrich, continues its 15th anniversary season of performances with "Carmina Burana," March 7-9, 2008, at the Birch North Park Theatre.

Pennsylvania Ballet presents Robert Weiss' Messiah, March 5 – 9, at the Academy of Music. With a score that lends itself to dance, Pennsylvania Ballet's former Artistic Director (1982-1990) Robert Weiss has created a visually enthralling epic that translates Handel's libretto to the stage. In more than 50 individual scenes, Messiah captures joy, suffering, passion, and the timeless tale of redemption.

With her New York City full-evening debut in mind, choreographer Jessica Lang knew exactly which company of dancers would best represent her work: Richmond Ballet. In March, the professional company will perform three of Lang's works during a special event at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts celebrating her innovative choreography.
