Visual Voices Art Exhibit Returns

In celebration of Black History Month, the third annual Visual Voices art exhibit will return to the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center in February. This year's exhibit is titled "Dayton Skyscrapers: An African-American Visual Artists' Tribute to African American Heroes of Dayton, Ohio" and will feature works by 13 local African-American artists.

Young People's Concert At Schuster Center

On Tuesday, February 13, Music Director Neal Gittleman and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra will present the DPO's 70th annual Young People's Concert, Kaleidoscope Around the World. The DPO specifically designed this concert for school-age audiences and planned it to link to Social Studies and Language Arts curriculum.

Dayton Philharmonic Presents "Boundless Harmony"

Yellow Springs native, cellist Karen Patterson returns to her family, community, social, and musical roots Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 8 pm in the Schuster Center, when - at the head of her own jazz ensemble - she joins Music Director Neal Gittleman and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra for an evening of classical, jazz, dance, gospel, and uniquely African-American music.
