The Delaware Art Museum presents The Baroque World of Fernando Botero, a major retrospective exhibition featuring 100 paintings, sculptures, and drawings, on through June 8, 2008. Fernando Botero (b. 1932), well known for his extravagantly rounded figures, is one of the most internationally popular artists working today. Using a broad range of media, the Colombian-born Botero has created a world of his own, one that is at once accessible and enigmatic.

The Delaware Art Museum presents In Company with Angels: Seven Tiffany Windows, an exhibition of stained glass angels made in 1902 for a Swedenborgian church in Cincinnati that were displaced when the church was razed in 1964.

The Delaware Art Museum is pleased to announce The Return of the Pre-Raphaelites, as America's largest collection of Pre-Raphaelite art comes home to Wilmington following an international tour. A series of celebrations will herald the return, including a Gala on September 20, a Homecoming Party on September 22, and a Family Festival on September 23, which is when the Pre-Raphaelite collection goes on view to the public.

The Delaware Art Museum presents Art in the 'Toon Age, an exhibition of nearly 60 paintings, works on paper, and mixed-media pieces, from March 24 through May 13, 2007. This exhibition showcases artists from three generations and eight countries whose bright colors, bold linearity, and shorthand communication devices spring from the cartoon and advertising styles of the 1940s and 1950s, as well as from the post-Pop aesthetics of the later 20th century.
