Last week the Denver Broncos started out on fire against the Washington Redskins. Quarterback Kyle Orton threw two early first quarter touchdowns to Brandon Marshall, and it looked like the Broncos would roll to victory. However, later in the game Orton sprained his ankle and missed the rest of the contest.

Last week the Denver Broncos didn't have their starting veteran running back Correll Buckhalter because of a high ankle sprain. This week Buckhalter is a full go in practice and is very likely to suit up for the Broncos on Monday night.

The Denver Broncos squeaked out a win on Sunday, 17-10, when DB Champ Bailey broke up a possible TD pass from DAL QB Tony Romo to Sam Hurd with 1 second left. This was the first time in his career that Romo has gone two consecutive games without throwing a TD pass.

The Miracle at Mile High? It might have been, except this game was at Cincinnati. A miracle tipped pass to Brandon Stokely brought the Denver Broncos back from the brink and to a 12-7 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Earlier this month Broncos star wide receiver Brandon Marshell asked for a new contract. Upon meeting with Broncos owner Pat Bolwen late last week, Brandon left the facility with packed boxes in hand.

Mike Shanahan has been fired by the Denver Broncos, after 14 seasons as head coach, and seven others in two separate stints, a total of 21 years as a Bronco.
