Employers polled for the 2009 UBA Employer Benefit Perspectives survey indicated that one in five employees was upset by a reduction in health insurance and health care benefits and/or cost increases. Roughly 40 percent or more of the employers felt their employees are aware of increasing medical costs and, although they didn’t like the changes/cost increases of health insurance coverage, they understood why the employers had to make them.
