JPMorgan and Euronext announced the listing of the JPMorgan ETF GBI EMU on Euronext, an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) based on JPMorgan’s European Monetary Union Government Bond Index (GBI EMU). The product is a passively managed benchmark tracker that replicates the performance of the JPMorgan GBI EMU, providing investors with direct access to the performance of the European fixed income market via a basket of more than 200 European government bonds.

NYSE Euronext and Caisse des Dépôts announced their intention to open an organized international market to trade CO2 allowances and credits. They plan to provide a full range of exchange-based services to the carbon emissions market at the global level.

Liffe today (August 29) announced the development of the new Liffe Guardian commodity management system as a replacement for the existing Grading & Tendering System (GATS), which will improve further the efficiency of Liffe’s commodity markets.
