The Ford Focus led Ford of Europe to a sales record in 2006, and the company intends to keep the Focus as a best-seller by introducing a new Focus with a fresh design and new technology at the Frankfurt International Motor Show.

Ford of Europe has achieved its best-ever March sales. With rising demand for its cars and commercial vehicles across Europe, the company increased sales by 4.6 per cent, to 220,326, compared with the same month last year. Market share improved by 0.1 percentage points, to 9.8 per cent.

Ford took the top award at the Auto Express Used Car Honours 2007 by securing best used car with the Ford Focus.
