Royal Scottish Orchestra Confirms Edinburgh Festival

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will perform at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre for its 07:08 Season, during Phase II of the Usher Hall refurbishment. The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will perform fifteen concerts during the period; six at the regular time of 7.30pm on a Friday, while the remaining nine dates will be on Sundays at the earlier time of 6.00pm.

Emerging Talent Invited To Royal Scottish Orchestra

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra is encouraging emerging conducting talent worldwide to apply for the position of Assistant Conductor, to commence from the start of the Orchestra's 07:08 Season. The Assistant Conductor post is a new position, funded by the John Mather Charitable Trust and the Stevenston Trust. It replaces the Associate Conductor role in the Artistic Team, currently held by James Lowe whose contract ends this year.
