Glyndebourne is offering local people the chance to go behind the scenes of an international opera house.

The 2008 Festival underlines Glyndebourne's commitment to new opera with a major new commission from the Hungarian composer Peter Eötvös, together with new productions of Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea and Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel.

Glyndebourne Opera on Tour announces its repertoire for Autumn 2007, under the leadership of new Music Director Robin Ticciati. Fresh from the success of his Festival debut, which won him plaudits as a remarkable and exciting emergent talent, Robin Ticciati will conduct a revival of Richard Jones’s production of Verdi’s Macbeth, following its sell-out run at the 2007 Festival.
