For the past week, Google has featured a different Sesame Street character on their doodle each day. All six of the featured characters and a few of their friends are hanging around the final Sesame Street Google doodle to complete the celebration.

On Monday, Google mobile ad company AdMob. AdMob, besides providing mobile display ads, uses its platform to perform market research, as well. For example, in Septemeber, AdMob received 10.2 billion ad requests, with 2.6 billion of those from iPhone and iPod touch devices. That is up from 130 million in September '08.

The Count von Count is busy counting the Google doodle this morning. Tomorrow on November 10th, the Count will be busy counting 40 candles on Sesame Street's birthday cake.

Its Elmo's World, no its Google; no its Elmo on Google. The fun, lovable little red muppet, Elmo is today's Sesame Street character on the Google doodle.

Oscar the Grouch is the next Sesame Street character to take over the Google doodle. For a week, Google is putting a different Sesame Street character on their doodle to celebrate Sesame Street's 40th anniversary.

The best friends Bert and Ernie are the muppets featured on the Google doodle today. Google is honoring Sesame Street turning 40 with a series of special doodles.

Back in 1982 there was no Google search engine. That did not stop Sesame Street's Cookie Monster from singing the "Google Bugle" song. Google continues to celebrate Sesame Street's 40th anniversary by having Cookie Monster on its doodle.

The U.K. Google site today is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Wallace & Gromit. Meanwhile, closer to home (virtually), the U.S. Google site's Doodle celebrates both the Sesame Street Anniversary which will occur on Nov. 10th, when its 40th season begins, and Big Bird's birthday, although in terms of his Sesame Street age, he's effectively frozen at six years old.

New Internet marketing features keep rolling out, and in the last few days there have been announcements from Twitter, Google and Amazon each announcing a major new feature (Google’s is in beta).
