Changfeng Motor aims to sell 280,000 vehicles annually by 2010, the Chinese SUV giant's CEO said at the ongoing Guangzhou auto show to local newspaper Guangzhou Daily.

Kia Soul, an all-new compact family car, will have its first meeting with Chinese consumers at the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Show after it debuted at the 2008 Paris auto show in early October, said Korean carmaker Kia Motors Corporation, Guangzhou Daily reported today.

Japanese carmaker Mazda Motor, one third owned by Ford, is set to showcase its long-awaited Mazda 6 at the upcoming Guangzhou auto show later this month, said sina.com today. Meanwhile the upgraded dynamic Mazda2 and Mazda3 will make its China debut at the show.

Toyota Motor Co will be presenting 45 vehicle models the 2008 China (Guangzhou) International Auto Exhibition on Nov 19 - 25, 2008.

GM will debut its all-new compact sedan Chevrolet Cruze at the upcoming Guangzhou auto show later this month. The Cruze will go on sale in China simultaneously with the European launch in early 2009, said Chinese media today, citing Shanghai GM sources.
