Middle-schoolers from around the region are invited to the Portland Symphony Orchestra’s (PSO) first Youth Concert of the season, a spine-tingling Halloween-themed program titled “The Chill of the Orchestra” on Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30 at 9:30 and 11:10 a.m.

The Detroit Zoo’s annual “merry-not-scary” Zoo Boo celebration returns this Halloween season, featuring a festively decorated half-mile trick-or-treat trail through the front of the park. Presented by National City, Zoo Boo will be held on the evenings of October 19 to 21 and October 25 to 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine.

San Francisco's Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf -- celebrating 45 years as an international touristdestination at the City's number one tourist destination – will hold its first annual "Goblins, Ghouls & Ghosts" Halloween Party on Saturday, October 27, 8pm 'til 1am.

Tacoma Art Museum is partnering with Centro Latino for the third year to present a celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) from October 20 through November 4, 2007. This multi-day celebration will feature a traditional tapete (sand painting) in the lobby, community-built altars or ofrendas, and a student artwork competition.
