On July 2nd Walgreen Co. (NYSE, NASDAQ: WAG) and Option Care, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPTN) announced a definitive agreement in which Walgreens will acquire Option Care in a cash transaction for $19.50 per share.

The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) hailed on June 5th the introduction of H.R. 2567, "The Medicare Home Infusion Therapy Coverage Act of 2007."
