A Nobel prizewinner and Britain’s first Asian woman peer are among six people to be honoured by the University of Leeds at ceremonies on 10 and 11 July 2008. The University has agreed to confer honorary degrees on Mark Byford, Professor Albert Fert, Baroness Flather, Sir Christopher Rose, Martin Scicluna and Polly Toynbee.
