Even though Aqua Eagle sounds more like a comic book character, their Multi-Photo Email is an extremely useful iPhone app that allows users to attach more than one photo into a single email. The application works by connecting directly to your email provider's outgoing SMTP, working with many web-based email programs like the wildly popular Gmail, Mobile Me and AOL mail.

Palm's Pre Gets Previewed at CES

As expected, Palm introduced both its new OS and a new smartphone, the Palm Pre, at CES on Thursday. The introduction was done by Jon Rubinstein, executive chairman of the board at Palm, who once, as he said, worked for some "cool company in Cupertino" (and helped with some gadget called the iPod). Oh, yes, and that Ed Colligan guy (president and CEO).

iBreath; Analyze Your Blood Alcohol Level, Then Call a Taxi

Took 'em long enough, I'd say. After all this same company, David Steele Enterprises, released a similar device for the iPod way back in 2006. The company has now released a version of the iBreath for the iPhone and iPod Touch, so you can check your blood alcohol content while making phone calls (to a taxi company or a designated driver, I hope).

Wal-Mart to Sell a $99 4GB iPhone?

We know that Wal-Mart is set to start selling the iPhone 3G on December 28th, but only today, Dec. 8th, did mainstream media pick up on it. More than that, however, a rumor raised last Thursday says that it might also sell a special $99 version of the phone. However, the only thing different about the phone will be the amount of memory, according to the report.

It's that time of the year when everyone announces their "Top" list. Top this, top that. Feeling left out, Apple has launched a special section of iTunes that lists the top iTunes downloads of 2008. This includes not only movies, TV shows and music, but also App Store purchases for the iPod Touch and iPhone.

Apple Sued Over Mobile Web Browsing Patent

The iPhone has drawn a lot a lot of attention from consumers --- and plaintiffs. The latest lawsuit to be filed against Apple's immensely popular device was filed on Monday by law firm Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro (JMBM) on the behalf of EMG Technology, LLC against Apple Inc. in the District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in the Tyler Division.

Google Street View Comes to the iPhone with 2.2 Software Update

Yep, Apple released the 2.2 version of the iPhone software today, as expected, and it's big. And by big I don't mean just feature-wise, but size-wise. For comparison's sake, the 2.1 update was 237.8 MB; this one is 246.4 MB.

Wal-Mart Snags iPhone 3G for Post-Holiday Sales

Wal-Mart is set to join Best Buy as yet another retailer selling the iPhone, outside of the obvious Apple and AT&T locations. According to a report by BGR, they have internal communications that indicate the retail giant will begin selling the iPhone 3G on December 28th.

Google's Mobile App for iPhone Gets Vocal at Last

After an interminable (not really, but it was sort of ridiculous how people reacted to the delay) wait, the Google Mobile App for iPhone with new voice recognition features showed up on the App Store. Strangely, at first it displayed the version number of the old version, though if you tried to download it, you would get the new version.

Google's iPhone Voice Search App Stays Silent
