Fort Hood's Soldier Readiness Center was the scene of a massacre last Thursday, as Major Nadil Malik Hasan appeared to stage a one-man war against the military.

There was a time when parents tried to teach their kids acceptance. Gainesville, FL high school students have been sent home over the last few days for wearing t-shirts with the phrase “Islam is of the Devil” on teh back. The children wearing the shirts belong to the Dove World Outreach Center, an evangelical “New Testament Church.”

Violence erupted today during a protest of a law passed last month in Afghanistan that has several affects, one of which is regulating when and why a wife may leave her home alone. But the more controversial portion of the law, which many say constitutes marital rape, states that a husband can demand sex with his wife every four days unless she is ill or would be harmed by intercourse.
