Dr. Allan Friedman who led the team of doctors conducting brain surgery on Senator Edward Kennedy at Duke University Medical Center, called the brain surgery "successful" as he was able to accomplish the "goal" The brain surgery of Senator Kennedy lasted about three hours.

Duke University Medical Center is the place where this morning Senator Ted Kennedy will undergo brain tumor surgery, performed by Dr. Allan Friedman.

A press release delivered around 5 this morning said Ted Kennedy will undergo brain surgery at Duke University at 9 this morning.

Ted Kennedy went home from the hospital yesterday. His malignant brain tumor will more than likely be fatal.

Tests after Senator Edward Kennedy's seizure this past Saturday revealed that the Senator has a Malignant form of Brain Tumor.
