Ohio Supreme Court today said that more than 1000 applicants have passed the Bar Exam as it released the Ohio Bar Exam results.

The New York State Board of Law Examiners announced today that the passing rate for graduates of New York's 15 law schools taking the bar examination for the first time in July 2007 was 88.2%. This is the highest passing rate in memory for graduates of New York law schools and represents a 1.5% increase over the passing rate for the same group who took the July 2006 bar examination.

After nearly 15 weeks in court, lawyers in the trial of the former media baron Conrad M. Black neared the end of their arguments Tuesday, with the jury expected to begin poring over 100 pages of jury instructions starting Wednesday, The New York Times reported.
