The man who served as mission commander during the South Pole rescue of Dr. Jerri Neilsen is scheduled to speak at the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

On Tuesday, February 20, 2007 Metropolis Magazine's West Coast Editor Jade Chang will present her lecture The Edge of Design: LA's Experimental Institutions at the Palm Springs Art Museum's Annenberg Theater at 6 p.m. The lecture, hosted by the Art Museum's Architecture & Design Council, will be followed by a reception in the Marks Graphics Center. Tickets are $5 for ADC members and $10 for non-members.
