Keep your family entertained this Easter at both the Everyman and Playhouse with two shows for all ages, shapes and sizes! From Tuesday 18 to Saturday 22 March the much loved classic children's tale Charlotte's Web brings Wilbur the pig and his farmyard friends to the Playhouse while, from Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 March, Hoipolloi Theatre Company bring their fantastical adaptation of Edward Gorey's illustrated story The Doubtful Guest to the Everyman.

This summer, from 30 May to 31 August 2008, Tate Liverpool will present a full-scale reconstruction of The Beethoven Frieze (1901-2 / 1984) a monumental installation by Gustav Klimt. The Frieze is a major highlight of Gustav Klimt: Painting, Design and Modern Life in Vienna 1900, the first comprehensive exhibition of Klimt's work ever staged in the UK and a key event in Liverpool's programme for European Capital of Culture 2008.

New York based company Decadancetheatre bring their unique hip-hop ballet Firebird to the Playhouse, a stunning fusion of urban dance moves with classical ballet based on Igor Stravinsky's ballet of 1910. Presented as part of LEAP 08, Merseyside Dance Initiative's annual dance festival, Firebird runs from Thursday 13 to Friday 14 March at the Playhouse.

National Museums Liverpool is inviting bands from Merseyside to join its new Myspace page for the upcoming The Beat Goes On exhibition at World Museum Liverpool, running from 12 July 2008 until 1 November 2009.

This summer, the city that The Guinness Book of Records has named as World Capital City of Pop is host to an exciting exhibition dedicated to 60 years of Liverpool music. The Beat Goes On opens at World Museum Liverpool from 12 July 2008 to 1 November 2009.

Franz Kafka's eerie and fantastical Metamorphosis launches the Capital of Culture year at the Playhouse in a spine-tingling production that combines astonishing aerial physicality and a gravity-defying set with a mesmerising original score by world-renowned musician and lyricist NickCave, and long time collaborator Warren Ellis. Metamorphosis runs from Tuesday 5 to Saturday 9 February at the Playhouse.

The latest play from David Edgar, one of Britain's greatest contemporary playwrights, arrives at the Playhouse this February in the hands of regular visitors Out of Joint Theatre Company.
