B.B. King Blues Festival At LA Philharmonic

The thrill is back as bluesman B.B. King brings his B.B. King Blues Festival to the Hollywood Bowl Wednesday, September 5 at 8:00 p.m. Los Angeles receives this one-night-only performance as part of a nationwide tour that hits 16 U.S. cities with various artists on each stop. Opening the show for this leg of the tour is Sacred Steel disciple Robert Randolph and the Family Band, as well as retro-soul guitarist James Hunter, who makes his Hollywood Bowl debut with this performance.

Pet Shop Boys Debut At Hollywood Bowl

British dance-pop duo Pet Shop Boys makes a special one-night-only stateside appearance at the Hollywood Bowl. The concert will take place on Thursday, September 27, at 7:30 pm. In the midst of a European tour, this Bowl debut is their only U.S. appearance. Also jumping across the pond for their Bowl debut is electro-pop group Ladytron.

Conductor Kirill Petrenko To Lead LA Philharmonic

Computer glitch leaves intl passengers stranded at LAX

About 2,500 international passengers were stranded for as long as five hours on planes and in terminals at Los Angeles International Airport because a computer shutdown prevented them from passing through customs, authorities said.
