Gaming site 8bitjoystick have apparently scored an exclusive interview with an Xbox 360 designer. In the tell-all interview, the xbox 360 designer spoke about the console's stability. He also revealed that, shockingly, the new generation of Xbox 360’s still have a pretty high failure rate compared to it’s rivals the Nintendo Wii and PS3.

Microsoft Corp. announced on July 5th that it will expand its global Xbox 360(TM) warranty coverage. Any Xbox 360 customer who experiences a general hardware failure indicated by three flashing red lights will now be covered by a three year warranty from date of purchase. All other existing Xbox 360 warranty policies remain in place.
