On March 18th the OJSC "RTS" Board of Directors approved changes to membership of Russian Trading System Trading and T+0 Market Committees.

During the trading session of March 18th, 2008 a record trading volume of futures on gold was registered on FORTS, derivatives section of Russian Trading System. By the end of the trading day the trading volume made up 45 397 contracts or 1,095 bln. rubles. There was also set a record in the number of trades – 1278.

On March 20th, 2008 trading on securities of JSC Rich BrokerService (Classic Market Ticker RIBS) stopped on OJSC "Russian Trading System" due to exclusion thereof from the list of securities admitted to trading on OJSC "RTS".

On March 11th, 2008 OJSC "RTS" signed an Agreement on cooperation with "PRIME-TASS". Therefore OJSC "RTS" has currently effective Agreements on cooperation with all the information agencies authorized by Federal Financial Markets Service to publish information disclosed on securities market.

Effective March 14th, 2008 trading on futures contract on RAO UESR ordinary shares with settlement on March 30th, 2008 will be started on FORTS, derivatives section of RTS. Delivery will be effected as usual – the vendor shall deliver to the purchaser 1000 RAO UESR ordinary shares. The last day of trades execution – May 29th, 2008.

During the week of February 26th – 29th, 2008, Russian Trading System Index is down by 0,76% and reached 2063,94 (2079,72 as of February 22nd, 2008). Leaders of negative impact on RTS Index became: OJSC "MMC "NORILSK NICKEL" ordinary shares (GMKN) (-5,26 points), Sberbank ordinary shares (SBER) (-4,73 points), ОАО "LUKOIL" ordinary shares (LKOH) (-3,85).

The Information Committee of OJSC "Russian Trading System" Stock Exchange" approved new lists of shares for calculation of Russian Trading System Indices, RTS-2 Index as well as Sectoral Indices, which will be valid starting from March 17th, 2008 till June 13th, 2008.

The number of billionaires in Russia is the double of USA, according to Forbes list of billionaires.

During the week of February 18th – 22nd, 2008, Russian Trading System Index is up by 4,55% and reached 2079,72 (1989,25 as of February 15th, 2008). Leaders of positive impact on RTS Index became: Gazprom ordinary shares (GAZP) +14,04 points, ОАО "LUKOIL" ordinary shares (LKOH) (+13,48), OJSC "MMC "NORILSK NICKEL" ordinary shares (GMKN) (+10,04).

During the week of February 11th – 15th, 2008, RTS Index is up by 6,32% and reached 1989,25 (1870,93 as of February 8th, 2008). Leaders of positive impact on RTS Index became: Gazprom ordinary shares (GAZP) – 15,80 points, ОАО "LUKOIL" ordinary shares (LKOH) (-15,44), OJSC "OC "Rosneft" ordinary shares (-10,21).
