The National World War II Museum (formerly The National D-Day Museum) will commemorate the 65th anniversary of the D-Day invasion at Normandy and their important connection that historic day with events both in New Orleans and abroad.

Walker Art Center celebrates the arrival of spring in May with tours that take visitors outside the Walker’s walls and onto the paths of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Tours of the Garden take place at 2 pm on May 9, 10, 14, and 28.

On Tuesday, May 5, the Chicago History Museum will take part in Cinco de Mayo festivities for the first time. In honor of this holiday, the Museum will provide live music, dancing, cocktails, appetizers and more. The fiesta begins at 7:00 p.m. and runs until 9:30 p.m.
