After a long, 16-day Internation Space Station (ISS) construction mission, space shuttle Endeavour and its seven astronauts returned to Earth on Friday. The mission had been long delayed by weather and operational difficulties.

After five unsuccessful tries, Shuttle Endeavour launched on Wednesday on what will be a 16 day trip to the ISS. Endeavour commander Mark Polansky leads a crew of seven that includes Canadian Julie Payette and NASA astronauts Doug Hurley, David Wolf, Chris Cassidy, Thomas Marshburn and Tim Kopra. Kopra will replace Koichi Wakata of the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency as an Expedition 20 flight engineer.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Shuttle Endeavor is on the launch pad, ready to make yet another launch attempt late Wednesday.
