E*TRADE FINANCIAL (NASDAQ: ETFC) has become a component of the NASDAQ Financial-100 Index (NASDAQ: IXFIN), effective prior to market open on January 30, 2007. E*TRADE FINANCIAL replaced Charter Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: CHFN). "We are tremendously excited that an innovative leader in the financial services industry such as E*TRADE FINANCIAL has been included in the NASDAQ Financial-100 Index," said NASDAQ executive vice president Bruce Aust.
